She studied at the Secondary Vocational School in Banská Štiavnica in the field of Technical and Information Services. Beata completed her secondary education with a school-leaving exam at the Samuel Mikovíni Secondary Industrial School in Banská Štiavnica, specializing in economics, which provided her with a solid foundation in administration and economic management.
Since 2013, she has been working at the National Forestry Centre in Zvolen. In her position, she ensures and carries out tasks related to supporting the scientific and technical background of the organization, making use of her organizational skills, accuracy, and reliability.
Beata has been a member of the research team in the LignoSilva project since 2017, working as technical staff. Her responsibilities include providing technical support for project implementation, ensuring the operation and maintenance of equipment, and assisting with both field and laboratory work. She collects field data (e.g., catching beetles using pheromone traps, bark traps, and classic traps), sorts beetles into taxonomic groups in the laboratory, breeds irradiated beetles under laboratory conditions, and cultivates entomopathogenic fungi on nutrient media. In addition, she processes data from monitoring systems, performs initial data processing in MS Excel, and prepares datasets for further statistical analysis, thereby contributing to the practical execution of project tasks and supporting the scientific staff.
