Diana Zraková has been part of the LignoSilva Centre of Excellence since 2024, working as a Research Scientist. She focuses on project implementation, software development and testing, and the transfer of research results into practice.

She earned her PhD at the Faculty of Management Science and Informatics, University of Žilina, in 2019. During her studies, she collaborated on the APVV-15-051 project focused on online reputation management in the automotive industry. Later, she worked for Slovak private companies in the engineering and wood-processing sectors, where she contributed to the APVV-21-0032 project “Certification of Roundwood Quality Based on Internal Wood Defects.”

Her expertise covers IT, data analysis, graphics, and marketing, supported by several professional certificates in graphics, web, and video, as well as certifications from Cisco Networking Academy in Internet of Things and Internet of Everything.

At LignoSilva, she is currently engaged in data collection, analysis, and testing related to the introduction of CT scanning technologies in wood processing, in developing a device for measuring barrel volume, and in artificial intelligence solutions for detecting wood defects.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, singing, fishing, and spending time with her family, dog, and cats.
