Mariana Mániková

Financial and Project Manager

Mariana serves as the Financial Manager for the infrastructure component of the LignoSilva Centre of Excellence project, where she is responsible for the overall coordination of financial processes and communication regarding project financing.

She graduated in 2005 from the Faculty of Economics and Management at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, specializing in regional development. Throughout her professional career, she has focused on preparing project proposals and financial management across multiple sectors—ranging from local government, through the non-profit sector, to private companies and public administration. In May 2025, she earned the PRINCE2 certification, further enhancing her project management expertise.

Mariana has been with the National Forestry Centre since 2012, initially as a financial manager. From 2018 to 2021, she led the Project Implementation Department and was part of the preparatory team for the LignoSilva Centre of Excellence. Since 2024, she has rejoined the Centre’s team as a Financial Manager.

In her free time, she mainly devotes herself to her family – together with her husband, they are raising three daughters. Her hobbies include reading, discovering new places, and doing volunteer work for her local community.
