Lukáš Halm serves as Innovation Coordinator at the Centre of Excellence for the Forest-Based Sector LignoSilva, where he leads the design and execution of innovation strategies tailored to the needs of NFC, with a strong focus on woodworking and forest-based technologies.

He holds a Master’s degree in Economics of International Trade and European Integration from the University of Economics in Prague, as well as a Master of Arts degree earned jointly from the University of Antwerp and the University of Science and Technology in Lille.

With more than 13 years of leadership experience, Lukáš has held senior executive and board-level positions, including CFO, CEO, and Chairman of the Board. His expertise spans strategic planning, technological innovation, and the development of conceptual frameworks for the forestry and wood-processing sectors. He has filed multiple patent applications, built an extensive international industry network, and successfully directed large-scale R&D initiatives. These projects led to the global launch, commercialisation, and market deployment of innovative woodworking technologies, supported by both private and public investments.

Since 2024, he has been a member of the LignoSilva Centre of Excellence team, driving the development and implementation of disruptive technologies in the forestry and wood processing.”
